Ingredients
2⁄3 c Shortening
2⁄3 c Butter
1 c Granulated sugar
1 c Brown sugar (packed)
2 Eggs
2 t Vanilla extract
3 c All purpose flour
1 t Baking soda
1 t Salt
1 c Log House cherry baking chips
Instructions
In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, butter, white and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir this into the creamed mixture. Stir in the cherry chips.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Edges should be golden brown.
