1 lb Pinto beans
1⁄2 Onion (diced)
1 1⁄2 T Cumin
1⁄2 T Pepper
1⁄2 T Garlic powder
1⁄2 T Onion powder
1 t Salt

<p>Rinse beans and check for any stones.</p>

<p>Place beans and onion in slow cooker. Fill cooker 1/2 way with water. Add all the spices and stir. </p>

<p>Cook on low for 8 hours.</p>

<p>This recipe makes a great base for burritos, chili, or bean soup. You can also add kielbasa during the last hour for a hearty soup.</p>
