Fried Red Cabbage

Ingredients
1 Red onion
1 Red cabbage
1⁄2 lb Bacon
1⁄2 c Brown sugar
1⁄2 c Brown vinegar
Instructions

<p>Cook bacon in a large pot until crisp.&nbsp; Remove, chop, and set aside.&nbsp; Leave 1/2 of the grease in the pan.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Chop onion, and fry in grease.&nbsp; Once it is clear, add the cabbage and cook on low 20 minutes stirring occasionally.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Add bacon, sugar, and vinegar.&nbsp; Simmer 20 minutes to 1 hr until tender.&nbsp;</p>
